Pool Leak Detection

We use high-tech audio equipment to detect leaks. The audio equipment uses sonar techniques and allows us to listen to water flow, finding those hard-to-spot leaks in your pool or spa.

Why Do You Need It

$

Wastage of hundreds of gallons of water every day.

$

Potential damage to the pool or spa structure, as well as any adjacent structures.

$

Unchecked pool leakage can change your pool's chemistry, leading to unsafe levels and potential algae overgrowth.

What McTarga Says

Pools naturally lose a little bit of water to evaporation and splash out; you may also gain water from rainfall. A good rule of thumb is if you’ve lost more than 1/4-inch during a 24-hour period, you’ll need to have a pool leak detection done.

Pools are meant to be watertight, but sealants can deteriorate, and your pool shifts and settles. Pools can leak through any of the fittings or accessories, plumbing, or even through the shell. It is important to repair pool leaks to save water, heat, and chemicals and prevent undermining pool structural components, and wash away filled dirt.
